I enjoyed using Storybird. You're a bit limited on picture choices but it's an wasy first way to write a book or story. I could use this for students presentations of their own bike trip or incorporate it into other lessons quite easily.

Ahhh... Minnesota take me away! A good example of journaling and an engaging story which will hold students' attention. How fun!
